The Date for the Tour of the Gibson Health Hub has been changed to
Thursday, March 21, 2024, 3:00 – 4:30 PM.

Notice—Park at the westside parking lot and enter through the west door. We request that you be there by 2:45 to begin the tour at 3:00.

Every Facility Manager understands the pains of running a facility, regardless of size, occupancy, multiple tenants, and location. However, when you step in to take over an older facility, it definitely comes with its own set of possibilities. However, sometimes those possibilities are not the ones you want, and that was the case for this building. The possibilities of failures were absolute, but as facility managers, we have to work through and persevere.  

Join us on March 21st as Vicente Martinez, with the City of Albuquerque, walks us through the obstacles he overcame with the Gibson Health Hub. The event is free, but you must register to attend.

Close-toed shoes and hard hats are required; Hard hats will be provided if necessary.

The Ancient Spirit of New Mexico Lives

at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center

On a sunny November afternoon, members and guests of the Facility Manager Association of New Mexico experienced a heart-felt journey through the past, into the present, and glimpsing the future as they toured the acclaimed Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Led by Cochiti Pueblo tribal elder Dave Chalan who is the construction manager at the venue, his personal story was intermingled with his substantial accomplishments and his family history at the 80-acre campus near the Rio Grande.
